Install Ledger Live
Download Ledger Live from the official Ledger website or your device's app store. Open the app and choose “Set up a new device.”

Write down your phrase
Your device will display a 24-word recovery phrase. Write it on the recovery sheets and store it somewhere private and secure.
A note on security
Your recovery phrase is yours alone.
It is the master backup to your wallet. Anyone who gets it can access your crypto assets, so keep it offline and never share it.
Ledger will never ask you to share your 24 words.Never type your recovery phrase into a website, app, email, or chat. Enter it only on your Ledger device when the device itself explicitly asks you to do so.
